Jewel Toned 'Magical Surprises' Fashion Show

One thing that has yet to happen in the fashion world is a pop-up fashion show...till now! Rachael McCrary, CEO and founder of the body shapewear, Jewel Toned, hosted a "Magical Surprise" fashion show at the Resident in Downtown Los Angeles. She described Jewel Toned, as shapewear that isn't quite underwear, and isn't quite outerwear; perfect for women who make their own rules.

The "pop-up" concept of the event is that you don't know when the fashion show is going to begin, so you have to be alert at all times. Rachael kept everyone alert and on their feet as they mingled and sipped on cocktails courtesy of Batiste.

Cat Footwear Press Day & #Earthmovers Party

On Wednesday, October 7th, New York City based fashion and lifestyle PR firm, AMP3 PR held it's bi annual Press Day for Cat Footwear. The event take place on Bryant Park South to showcase the brand’s latest range, including the current Fall/Winter 2015 line and a first look at the entire Spring/Summer 2016 collection.

Each guests were invited to have a one on one appointment with each of the lovely ladies of AMP3 PR, Alyson, Ashley, and Rachel. They went through each line of the footwear thoroughly.  Explaining the materials that were made, and the inspiration behind them.

I must say it is always a pleasure when seeing them as they are so kind and nice. They show so much passion and excitement for Cat and it made me wants to be a part of Cat.

Cat Footwear is starting to become one of my favorite footwear brand as they are becoming innovate with their line and have such a wide range of selection of styles.

After Press day, the space opened up for Happy Hour drinks from 6pm-8pm, complete with a DJ, Ping Pong, and some big giveaways. During the party Cat Foot held a contest to find the next #EarthMovers (Brand Ambassador). The grand prize is a paid #Earthmovers contract that will include cash, boots, a professional photoshoot, web feature, and being in Cat’s 2016 #Earthmovers campaign.  Runner-up prizes also included gifts like Nordstrom gift cards, a whiskey prize pack from Kings County Distillery, and a 1-year subscription to SprezzaBox.

I had the opportunity to enter the contest during my appointment. Hopefully I get it (finger crossed) as I believe I fit the description of an #EarthMovers. Someone who can inspire others and celebrates individuals who positively impact the world around them and who "move the earth" in their everyday lives.  Dedicated, confident, and bold, an Earthmover is an individual who embodies the brand's tradition of hard work and fearlessness.
