This weekend I had the opportunity to check out Ministry of Supply pop up glass kiosk in Santa Monica Place. Just this year alone, they opened up their first store in Santa Monica inside this outdoor mall.
For this winter, they partnered up with Santa Monica Place to open this amazing 3D print knit in a glass kiosk where you are able to determine your personal heat profile using a thermal mirror. The technique and source of this product are so amazing. You can determine what heat is best for you (as you know everyone has their own set of temperature). Personally, I know that my body heat is usually higher than my friends, which make sense because am very sensitive to the cold. I am from Michigan, when I tell people I hate the cold, I really mean I HATED it. I have such bad memories of just being in the cold during winter and just not loving it at all!
Ministry of Supply work with Nimbly to manufacture the custom 3DPK Thermal Sweatshirts that provide custom function via personalized ventilation patterns, which will be available in 7 colours, and manufactured locally in Los Angeles.
